Writing Challenge
Runs 24th Apr – 21 May
Do you want to fit more writing into your life?
Perhaps things are so busy, it’s hard to make any space for writing. Or maybe you find yourself procrastinating when you want to be writing.
This four-week writing challenge is designed to help you make focused progress on a project of your choice … with the full support of your fellow writers.
You might choose to:
- Start something new: take the plunge and write the first chapters of that novel you’ve been dreaming about.
- Finish a project that’s dragged on: make those edits, rewrite that chapter, or complete that final piece.
- Make meaningful progress: tackle a big writing project that keeps getting pushed down your to-do list.
- Strike out in a new direction: launch your freelancing career, enter story competitions, try poetry…
Or you might have something else in mind entirely!
The Writing Challenge is for you. It’s just $10 for all four weeks … and it might be the best $10 you spend on your writing all year.
(NOW CLOSED)
Here’s How it Works
Four-Week Writing Challenge
The Spring Writing Challenge lasts for four weeks.
When you register, between Monday 17th and Friday 21st April, you’re encouraged to introduce yourself in our Facebook group and set your goals.
Then, from Monday 24th April, you’ll receive a very short (2-3 minutes) video each Monday to help kickstart your writing and tackle common issues.
At the end of the week, you’re encouraged to check in on Facebook to let us know how you got on. (You can also check in by email if you’ don’t want to use Facebook.)
We’ll finish up the challenge on Sunday 21st May, sharing how we’ve got on and hopefully celebrating lots of progress together.
Our Spring Writing Challenge Facebook Group
The Spring Writing Challenge Facebook group is a private pop-up Facebook group exclusively for writers who’re taking part in this writing challenge.
In there, you can talk about your writing project, share your progress, ask questions, get support, and help out other writers with some words of encouragement or advice.
You’re welcome to use the Facebook group as much or as little as you want during the course. I’ll be happy to tag you in the check in topics (and message you if you haven’t checked in!) to help you stay on track. But if that’s too pressuring, it’s fine to just hang out in there quietly too!
If you’re not a Facebook user, or if you don’t want to use it for this, no problem. You can still take part in the Writing Challenge by email.
At the end of the challenge, the Spring Writing Challenge Facebook group will be closed, but you’re very welcome to join the Aliventures Club on Facebook too (my permanent Facebook group for all Aliventures customers).
Special Bonus: The Aliventures Club
Whenever you buy anything from me, you get full access to The Aliventures Club, my Facebook group.
This is a place to chat about writing, share your successes, ask questions, and get support.
It's a completely private group, so only fellow members of the group will see what you post.
You can join as soon as you buy. I'm looking forward to seeing you there!
Don’t Miss Out!
If you’ve been feeling a bit stuck or discouraged with your writing, the Spring Writing Challenge could be just what you need to get yourself moving again.
(NOW CLOSED)
As soon as you buy, you’ll get full access details.
If you pay for the Writing Challenge and decide it isn’t quite right for you, at any point before the end of the challenge, just let me know and I’ll refund you in full.
If you’re a student, a retiree, on a low income, or otherwise not in a position to afford the Writing Challenge, please drop me an email at ali@aliventures.com. I have some free places available and I’d love to give you one.
